DUTIES

A product packer is responsible for packing and preparing products for shipment. They must ensure that the products are packaged securely and according to company standards. The job typically involves working in a warehouse or production facility and requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Pack products according to company standards

2. Ensure that products are labeled correctly

3. Perform quality checks to ensure products are undamaged and meet specifications

4. Operate packaging equipment, such as tape machines and wrapping machines

5. Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals

6. Maintain a clean and organized work area

7. Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS 

1. Prior experience working in a warehouse or production environment is preferred

2. Attention to detail

3. Able to work in a fast-paced environment

4. Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds

5. Strong communication and teamwork skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

1. Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift for extended periods of time

2. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis

3. Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions, including outside in all weather conditions

WORKING CONDITIONS 

The product packer will primarily work in a factory environment, which can be noisy and dusty. The position may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
